Coca Cola/CRI Attains ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

On July 3, 2008, the IAR Accreditation Board approved the field assessors’ recommendation for the accreditation of the Testing Laboratory at Coca Cola’s Caribbean Refrescos, Inc. concentrate plant in Cidra, Puerto Rico.

The Assessment Team was led by Ms. Lucia Natale and included Mr. Angel Pabellon as a Metrology Expert, and Celso Alvarado as a Beverage Quality Assurance Expert.

CRI’s Quality Manager, Armando Sanjurjo, and the entire Laboratory Staff were congratulated for their very impressive Integrated Management System which also includes ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
