Certified Auditors, Consultants, Instructors and/or Technical Experts that are interested in being listed in the IAR registry should access the on-line “Application for Registration”, enter their personal information and then choose the corresponding programs and disciplines.
Once the candidate has chosen the program and discipline they must complete the Work Experience Log (WEL) and include therein all corresponding and pertinent work experience.
The candidate must then indicate whether their certificate was issued by an IAR Accredited or Recognized Certification Body.
If the certificate was issued by an IAR Accredited or Recognized Certification Body, then the candidate must provide the following information:
Certificate Title
Date of Issuance

If the candidate is not certified by an IAR Accredited or Recognized Certification Body, the following information must be submitted:
Certificate(s) of Training
Certificate(s) of Formal Education
Reference Letter(s)
Audit, Consulting and/or Training Experience Logs as applicable
IAR’s shall then issue a detailed quotation for each program and discipline.
If the candidate accepts the fees included in the quotation, they should proceed to the payment options page and choose to pay either by Bank wire transfer or by credit card. (Application fees are not refundable).
After confirming the receipt of payment, IAR’s administration shall evaluate the documentation submitted to determine if it is complete, if it meets the program requirements. IAR shall request additional information if it is deemed necessary
The duration of evaluation process depends on each case as follows:
Up to 72 for candidates that have been certified by an IAR Accredited or Recognized Certification Body.
Approximately 30 days for candidates that are not certified by an IAR Accredited or Recognized Certification Body. The candidate shall select a Certification Body depending on the program and discipline. (The process may take more than 30 days if the parties listed on the application delay in their responses to the certification body).
If all the applicable requirements are met, an e-mail shall be sent to the candidate indicating the grades for which he/she was approved. A general registration number will be issued as well as one registration number per program and discipline. The registration shall be valid for a period of 3 years, subject to the payment of annual fees. Candidates con opt for an electronic Certificate of Registration for each discipline.
30 days prior to the three year anniversary date of a particular registration, the individual must submit to IAR evidence that justifies continual certification and competence in the field and must pay the fees that apply at the time of re- registration. See clause 8 of this procedure for the steps that follow.
